Purely as a matter of interest, have the Russians found you yet? I'm getting inundated with membership applications from suchandsuch@yandex.ru and have been for about the last 8 weeks. Nothing unusual to have in excess of 150 applications a day.

Bloody Nightmare keeping on top of it all singlehanded as my entire team have taken themselves off on holidays, so I am doing it solo.

I have put messages up that you are now open for business, but as most of our members are, or were members of MR I am assuming that they have found you already.

I cant see anywhere a total of the current membership.  All other forums seem to have this, usually on the front page.

Im just curious as to how were doing and don't want to have to keep asking.

185.  Thats pretty good going.  Emps temp site had just over 200 so we still have a few who have gone astray.

I think some on Emps forum were from when the site first appeared in 2009 so we probably won't get all of them.

You think that's bad? Look at mine...I've got 10,000 of the things (and I never had that many in the first place, although some bastard's facepalmed me somewhere). Seems like a bit of a bug somewhere...I'll have a look when I get home.

Although...while trying to figure out why it happened, I discovered who gave me a facepalm. It's far too tempting to have one of Sporky's "accidents".

No, it was one of the guys in the politics thread. I don't even understand what it was in my comment which deserved such (apart from not espousing his point of view), but I'm willing to accept that it's a breach of etiquette to approach him over it.

Aww man... how come you can see who's facepalmed you and nobody else can ?  Some bugger has done it to me (and for that matter, monquixote, sporky, Ttony etc etc).  If I'm having the piss taken out of me, at least let me know why.

Unless you can see who has awarded you points and for what posts, I don't see the point in them.  There is no feedback in that loop.

Hmmm ... let's discuss how this is working.

You need to find a way of limiting the votes.  One vote per member per post.  Is that possible.

That is already the case.

I think they should be anonymous, otherwise we risk tit-for-tat nonsense.

It would be nice, if the plugin supports it, to let people see the posts for which people voted though.
