I don't play or listen to classical guitar, but this guy is incredible.

Wow no kidding. Perfectly controlled. Brace yourself for the army of internet guitar players coming to announce that technical playing does nothing for them ; p

That! Feels Good! by Jessie Ware.

I've been a fan since Tough Love but it seems like she's found her stride with this album. It's groovy, jazzy, summery ... just a generally great and fun album to listen to. Love it.

Winter Dust. Poppy Italian post-something with a bit of shouting (but tuneful shouting). No idea what it's about, but it's a nice fierce-mellow sort of thing.

New Brutus album! Stefanie has quite a pair of lungs, especially considering she's also going at the drums with significant determination.

One of the poppier ones, though the whole album is a bit less harsh than their previous work throughout.

Amazing band. Should be big, but think they like it gigging in pubs round UK. Highly recommended if they come near you. This one is a real builder. Mammoth tune.

    Dont worry, be silly.

Avenged Sevenfold - Life is But a Dream....

I'm not very familiar with A7X - I have only one of their previous albums - but I'd read some reviews of this which sounded intriguing.

It is (presumably) a big departure from their previous work.  There are echoes of Queen, ELO, Alice in Chains, Frank Zappa, Daft Punk... there's a bit of crooning in the vein of Michael Buble or Harry Connick Jr... and the whole thing ends with a classical piano piece.

They're talented bastards, for sure, but I'll have to listen a few more times to decide if I actually like it.  I wouldn't have objected to a couple of dopey metal songs.
