I was looking to upgrade my electro acoustic and went to a second hand place to try something specific I’d seen on their website which turned out to be a huge disappointment. So I tried out a load more and this one stood out against all the others.

It’s nothing special or expensive but it was one of those purchases where you’re 100% happy with the guitar in every way and nothing can take that away

It’s a Tanglewood Koa electro-acoustic. A solid workhorse for live use and twiddling at home, and also happens to look absolutely stunning!

Close thing, but on current grab n play form I think it has to be this 1972 Tele Custom, that I bought, sold and bought back again in 2021…

 This Gibson LP Junior 2 pickup Ltd thingy ,(let's face it , it's a Special)  , via ebay.

Now with Lollar p90s and a scratchplate.

Lovely neck , light weight with a belly carve , excellent condition , I'm well happy with it.

2 out and 4 in this year, which is an unintended accumulation… . A MIM Roadworn LPB Tele, a CS Tele, CS Nocaster (no pics at the moment)  and a Murphy ultra light aged R6 which really is a stunning guitar.

I only bought 2 guitars this year, a Danelectro DC59 & a Tokai V, the V is crazy good!! The pickups are low output whatever they are, it sounds like Schenker so im a habby boy

Great guitar but I’m giving up on jazz… or at least on learning traditional jazz exclusively. Very frustrating.

My Martin D-18. I bought it with some money left to me by my Nan. I preferred the sound and the slightly more understated looks to the D-28 and I'm sure she would approve.
