Mine would be my c. 10+ year old PRS DGT Goldtop with moons/dots.

It is not my coolest guitar, but it is the one that I find the easiest to just go back to. I love the slightly chunky neck and a big lumpy frets (just plain easier to play for me and my poor general playing technique)

The coil taps are famously actually pretty good and the core sound is lovely - characteristically hum bucker but not mega high output of overly lumpy and middy.

If I could only have/keep/play one electric that I own, it would be that.
Yes: me too.  A 2008 PRS DGT Goldtop, with moons: a true keeper...

CS Nocaster. Still don’t quite get why, but it seems to be when I use any of “the others” I utter “OOO that’s a nice guitar” as I’m putting them back into their respective cases…….and then back to the Nocaster.

    This would be mine.

Based on the Bailey Bandsman, my son made it for me as a surprise on one of their guitar building courses.

My newest as I’m in the honeymoon period.
    EVH Wolfgang Standard Exotic
I am frankly blown away by this guitar, the build quality, the finish, the pickups, the neck are all astonishingly good, and it’s sub £500 new.

It dices, slices and shreds and feels so comfy to play.

I’m so tempted to get another once I’m done paying for this one.

  • Christ! ... that's a stunner. I've stopped buying but that might just tempt me out of the cave.

I’ve more or less decided that sticking to the classic, timeless designs works. Since posting this I have acquired a used Peerless Martin Taylor Virtuoso Archtop which is very good, but unfortunately also in vintage burst!

I’m showing my age by admitting that I look at that pic and think “that chair looks REALLY comfy”

    There's a reason they're timeless classics.

Probably my battered 2010  Gibson Junior with the "no-name" pickup, I love so much ( the pickup has a sticker which reads TUB pickups ? )
