My fender strat. I saved for 2 years as an early teen to get it but have never regretted it!

My favourite guitar track will always be Layla as it was the song that made me want to pick up a guitar.

Hey,
I'm Jacob. It's my first name. I'm in London, I play metal and my musical ambition right now is to write some decent thrash stuff. My best bit of gear is an Axe FX 3, but I want to get a valve amp too. My favourite track is a hard one.... probably Bleed by Meshuggah right now.

Q1:  My name, quite simply my initials.

Q4:  My best piece of gear is my 2021 Fender Custom Shop Limited edition 61' Hardtail Stratocaster in Sonic Blue!

Q5:  I seriously couldn't pick a favourite all time song, there is just too many, and it would entirely depend on mood, however according to spotify my number one all time played song is Ben Howard's "I Forget Where We Were"

I've acumulated loads over the years, mostly low end, so I'd love to have a best thing but can't say that I do? When I get my hands on a proper vintage Ampeg, it will be that.

Um, Ol Man Trouble by Otis Redding and the MGs, just for Cropper's opening tele stabs.

Q1:  I struggled to think of a good one, so looked at my pedals and combined them into what I thought would be a good street name.  Good ideas like that always come late at night with a whisky in hand.

Hi all, (very) long time lurker, finally signed up.

Q1:  Where did you username come from?

I was doing Lego with my sons a while ago and they were berating me for building some stuff out of sequence. That has subsequently become my supervillain name.

Getting back to gigging.

A tele-style guitar that was my first “scratch build”.

Extreme - Play With Me. It’s what got me into guitar after watching Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure in the cinema.

I'm Mike, I've been observing the forum for a few weeks, thought it was time to commit myself. This is in line with what other people say, that I should have been committed years ago. Retired now, so another for the Old Git brigade.

Username: I make soup. I did think of Souperman but thought some might think I couldn't spell.
Where: Near the coast, 10 m east of Newcastle.
Ambition: improve my playing.
Best bit: Lowden O25

Track: there've been a few but Joe Bonamassa's Sloe Gin on the live at the Albert Hall album makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. (They're the only ones I have...).
