For me Name of the game isn't a perfect pop song. It's more of an album song. Perfect pop for me would be something fast and uplifting, like I'll be there for you by the Rembrandts (try and remove it from the Friends association!).

Back to Name of the game - it's a brilliant song on many levels. I absolutely adore it, by far and away the best ABBA song for me. The start is incredible and the whole tone of the song is melancholic yet uplifting at the same time. The lyrics are a perfect match for the music. You really believe that the singer is feeling those emotions.
