Incredible race.  Its one that will be talked about for some time.  Leclerc drove well, but those last few laps were tense.

So to sum up… sprint race is pointless and the race was great largely despite rather than because of it. 

The key to good racing is to cancel Red Bull, put Lewis on the back foot and make sure to have a fast Ferrari on the grid. Who knew?!

I still don't see how it was Hamilton's fault, when Verstappen had more than half the track width to use.

Oh, and a little chuckle at Red Bull chucking out a point for tenth place to gain a point for fastest lap, so Hamilton wouldn't get it...

Good luck with that. F1 needs the likes of Ferrari, Mercedes, Alpine, McLaren, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, and Williams not a fizzy drink maker run by Horner the moaner and Marko the megalomaniac .. nothing will come of it.

Max had already had all 4 wheels off the track to keep Lewis behind anyway, he shouldn’t have still been in front of him at copse before he cut back across Lewis.

Horner should win an Oscar for his performance today when Max has done the same move and punted others off countless times and been backed up by the team. 

I don’t think Max realised Lewis was still alongside him.

Really good analysis from Karun on the post-race show. 

Will try and find a clip for the C4 viewers. His suggestion is Max had bags on space on the outside but chose to turn in on Lewis after initially turning then hesistating. Racing incident. 

Between this and the “Hamilton ruined Albon’s career” shite from Marko, I wouldn’t mind at all if RB sold out to VW/Audi

I made the mistake of looking at twitter after the race.  One comment I saw said that Lewis shouldn't have got a penalty, he should have been arrested for attempted murder. Jesus wept...

I'm no racing driver but I'm pretty sure the last thing you'd deliberately do in a fast corner like Copse is risk breaking your front wing or wheel.

Not seen the race, but regardless of the crash a good result for the season… verstappen was looking to run away with it. Hamilton making his “luck” stick as all the greats do.
