Nah, Ferrari have been at this for years. Alonso had issues, then Seb and now Charles. They've had the same guy since 2014 - Iñaki Rueda.

That was a reaaaaally good guess.

An absolute masterclass from Ferrari on how to throw a race.  Verstappen’s win from his lowly grid position was an exceptional achievement, and notable for owing nothing to yellow flags, safety cars or inclement weather.  He was on the podium on merit alone, and on the top step as a result of Ferrari subtly rearranging Sainz behind Leclerc followed by the baffling decision to pop Charles on hard tyres.

And then bring him in again.

Stunning drive by Max, no way should he have won from 10th. Still, with Ferrari's help I guess it wasn't so difficult, eh? Sadly, the championship is now all but done and dusted, not something I wanted to see.

A mention for the Merc boys, they both drove cracking races, George's battle with Leclerc was epic!

Yeah… it’s quite predictable these days, sadly. 

While Mercedes are catching them in the constructors with a slower car because they just keep doing everything right as often as possible.

That could end up being overtake of the season, I reckon. I really hope Danny Ric can start getting the best out of the car soon, or i think he'll struggle to find another drive at the end of his current contract.

I still don't like Max, but he's driving brilliantly this year; and much more fairly than last year, too - although he's not being pushed anywhere near as hard as Lewis pushed him last year, is he.

I agree on Max. His driving has been phenomenal this year because he's chilled out a bit. I did chuckle at him saying how this year's fight was much more enjoyable and less grumpy than last year's. I can't help but feel that's because he's got basically no competition, so there's noone to get mad at him!

As soon as Ferrari put hard tyres on LeClerc’s car I thought, that’s it, they’ve completely fucked up his chances. I honestly don’t understand where their strategies come from…do they just do rock, paper, scissors? All the other teams had dismissed the hard option as unworkable over the whole weekend, what made them think it would be any different on their car. 

I’m not a Max fan at all but you can’t fault his driving yesterday, apart from the spin, and he even recovered that superbly well. Unless Max and RB have spectacularly bad luck or reliability problems the WDC and Constructor’s prize is already theirs.

I really thought he'd stick with Enstone this time. I'm almost surprised they want him - even if the car is a dog he's going to make Lance look stupid. 

At least this should mean Piastri gets a seat with Alpine.
