I especially love his playnig on the album Trace.. he's really full-on and exciting.. I love drummers that don't hold back..
I was a drummer long before I was a guitarist.. Pierre v d Linden was a massive influence / hero..
interestingly, when I programme drums [I did the drums on the Civilians album], form time to time I can hear my hero's popping thru... Pierre v d Linden, Alan White and Niel Peart seem to be most prominent..
