It's fine, but if you're planning on staying, it might be worth a bit of research. ;)

Do "Ian Elson" as well.  And you'll be needing firm opinions on John Mayer, Joe Bonamassa, shredding versus "feel", dentists, relics, Epiphone prices and bedroom dealers.
Cannot forget Chibsons in that list.

I wonder whether we should implement some kind of Bingo card system. The moment a thread calls Bingo, it gets closed.

Or just simply fast track to "is guitar music dead ?" - depending on the answer, all of the above could be cleared up simultaneously.

It's more than okay, it's a bonus and you should endeavour to keep it that way.

Frankly, it would actually be a lot better if everyone ignored him in the hope that he'd go away, but people seem to want to bang on about him. Now admittedly, his arrogant demeanour does make him somewhat punchable, but he's certainly not alone in that; thus the amount of flak he attracts is grossly out of proportion to his complete lack of importance. Given that there is no such thing as bad publicity, it makes it a bit like pouring gasoline on a fire when smome choose to vent about him at length. It's a big old world with many far more annoying things to get pissed off about than an annoying youtuber with a bit of an ego.

The thing I don't understand about Chapman is how on earth has he got 727k YouTube subscribers? Unfathomable.

Sadly, completely unexpectedly, he has been beaten to it...by a young lady called Kiki Wong - a metal guitarist.

FFS. I should've just flushed my money down the toilet rather than giving it to Ladbrokes.

Damn, I thought you'd come to announce Chappers was in.

Kiki Wong seems a slightly odd choice.  I'm guessing she'll look a bit different next time we see her.

Actually she's on par for a Pumpkins member.  3 or 4 guys and a female bassist is the blueprint isn't it.  So does that mean Kiki will be pulling bass duties?
Either way - Chappers never stood a chance.

Incidentally, do they really need four guitarists?
Now, THE SMASHING PUMPKINS officially welcome highly skilled veteran instrumentalist Kiki Wong as their additional touring guitarist. Kiki joins the band's tour lineup along with mainstays Jack Bates (bass) and Katie Cole (guitar, keys, vocals).

I just Googled Katie Cole - I had no idea she was already a touring member of Smashing Pumpkins - and she seems to be a singer-songwriter type who is generally pictured with an acoustic guitar, so I guess that's her role on the ballady material.

Kiki will be playing electric, including some leads, presumably.  Perhaps she sings a bit as well.
