Best First Track from a Band's First Album Thread

What's Hot
What are your favourite introductions to a band .. ?

I would say my two are Belfast by Orbital and Like Eating Glass by Bloc Party, although The Stone Roses must have an honourable mention with I Wanna Be Adored

    Ring Ring - ABBA

Down To The Waterline - Dire Straits

To Cut A Long Story Short - Spandau Ballet

    Don't Go - Yazoo

Perfect Skin - Lloyd Cole & The Commotions

Black Planet - The Sisters Of Mercy

    I Don't Want A Lover - Texas

Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine - The Killers

    TCALSS *remained* Spandau's best-ever song too…

But I'd agree with chilli that Black Sabbath/Black Sabbath/Black Sabbath is the greatest ever first track on a band's first album. It didn't just launch a band, it launched an entire genre.
