    All Benelux countries....
Yes, but their three peaks challenge is a lot easier than ours.

Really looking forward to Japan, the only perturbing thing I've read is that their are no signs in English, all that technology and they can't learn to speak English FFS ;)

In terms of places I don't care about visiting:

France. Just about everyone I know who has visited Paris has described it as an overpriced dirty place. I'd visit some of the old war sites, Dunkirk obviously, but no interest in the big cities really. So let's call it ambivalent.

Australia. It's a fucking long way to travel, all that time in a plane would bore me rigid, I don't care about going to the beach, and it's got a lot of poisonous and generally disagreeable creatures there (and that's just the Sheilas. Arf.).

Last summer we drove down to Italy over a fortnight stopping in various places along the way. If you're interested in the old war stuff, I'd recommend Ypres - lots to see and do within 30 mins drive of there, as well as being a nice town. I thought Dunkirk felt like a British seaside town but with less friendly people, but to be fair we only stopped there for a couple of hours and the museums were all closing...

As for Oz, having lived there for 3 years as a kid I'd love to go back... but it is a looong way.

All Africa is. Why else do you think they're all queueing up at Calais to get in here?

A lot of middle eastern countries turn me off, unless you like living in the stone age.
And everyone's got a Kalashnikov. That puts me off too.

Usually it's the Highland people that are nutters, from Scotland to Afghanistan to Italy to Vietnam, it's the same thing all over the world.  Remote highlanders are a law unto themselves.  Afghanistan will never be tamed because it has always been the way it's been.  Equally well, valley people are kind of nuts too, but not as nuts as the highlanders.

The US. Boston is nice because it's fairly European new York was OK. But having been to Philly and Florida the whole place just lacks a soul. Very much so Australia. Guess its a new world thing. Hated south Africa. Likewise not a fan of the middle east.
Europe has some fantastic cities and I want to do the South American continent.

I hated America until I went there.  The lifestyle fits perfectly.  Work hard, do up your SS Chevelle at the weekend or live in a trailer home under the overpass, whatever.  Great country, where people still stop to offer you a ride....if you're white and a redneck and men still take offence if you offer to shovel snow for them or can shovel it faster, because you're an efficient English machine and they can't do anything without a machine and have crap long handles shovels that belong on a pub wall.

I just America so boring. Identicate town after identicate town. Everything arranged in a grid, very dirty. No culture outside of the big cities.
