Never owned an SG.  Like the way they look, love the way they sound and feel - just never bought one, for some reason.

I should probably do something about that.
-- Before you ask, no, I am in no way, shape or form related to Fuzzdog pedals, I was Fuzzdog before Fuzzdog were Fuzzdog.  Unless you want to give me free crap, then I'm related to whatever the hell you like! --

I've never owned a PRS or a Rickenbacker and so far I have still no desire to do so.

never owned a PRS, Rickenbacker, or any Fender 'offsets' apart from a Jazz Bass. Would like A Jazzmaster ... and that may be coming soon ;-)

Never owned a 335. Big awkward ungainly things with the neck in the wrong place.

@Sarge Squier Classic Vibe 50s Tele. Awesome neck, if you like a lacquered maple board.

I've never owned a semi acoustic. GAS almost got the better of me last year when I tried an Epi Casino and an Epi Dot, but I didn't really like the feel of either. Too many years of Strats and Teles I suppose, but the body shapes felt all wrong.

Never owned a Les Paul despite my favourite players being LP men. Might get one one day.

Never owned a guitar with a Floyd either. Passed on a late 80s Charvel once (the kid of thing I wanted as a kid) and regretted it ever since. My Strat's served me well, but the way I've been hammering the whammy lately I might need something more heavy duty.

Guess that's a Floyd-equipped Lester I'll be needing then... (goes to put on tin hat).

    F__k Teles. Ugly slabs.

Never had (or needed) a guitar with a Bigsby.

Never owned a Tele and, in fact, I've played quite a few and only liked two of them and neither were for sale.

Come, come. That's no way to talk of the Grand Old Lady of guitardom. A Tele is a thing of great beauty.

    How can I convince you?

Perhaps a gander at the Teles in a certain Hants guitar emporium, while our kids avail themselves of the creche facilities?

I was struggling to think of something, but that's reminded me - no 335s ! (or PRSeseses)

I've never owned a Rickenbacker, or a Gretsch, or a Jaguar, or a Jazzmaster.  And never particularly wanted to.

I've also never owned a 335 or an Explorer; I would quite like to own both of those but they're too big for me.

    And I've never owned a 4x12.

Never have I ever owned a:

    - locking trem.
    - bigsby.
    - Gretsch.
    - Rickenbacker.
    - "true" archtop / hollowbody.
    - Anything with more than 22-frets.

I should rectify the middle five. Prefarably via a Black Falcon, and a 325 of some sort.

    Haha, rock on , @mrchi! ;

I've also never owned a Gibson. The double cutaways (SGs?) remind me of a prat back at high school and it put me off them forever. The single cuts look the business (they really do) but even if I find one that's not too heavy, there are two too many volume/tone controls and I prefer a 5-way blade and all switches in the one position. Plus there's no denying the cutaway on a PRS makes it so much easier if you play high octane solos up at high frets!

SG is the one that sticks out as so many artists I like use/used one. but I find it the most hideous of the mainstream guitars, everything about it is wrong, body shape, colour, neck. Just does nothing for me

Dots, Rickenbackers etc always look nice, but I don't know what I'd do with one, just don't think they fit the way I play or the style I play.
