    Me neither
    When is it out
Will it fix the clocking issues?

Can you believe one of the main complaints on the FX8 forum is not enough updates

I suspect that, on the Fractal forum, "playing with your Fractal" is considered a more worthwhile pastime than "playing guitar".

I've just been watching a few of the YouTube clips regarding the Helix, and it really does seem like a remarkable device.

It actually seems quite cheap when you work out individual pedal prices, boards, power supplies etc.... but does it deliver the sounds ???

Currently, on my own journey, I am experimenting with loopers, and I'm playing more and more straight into the amp(s).

    Helix owners !!

1.) How good and usable is the looper, and the reverse feature ?

2.) Can this be used in stereo with two amps plugged directly into the Helix ?

    Cheers,
    Waz

    1 really easy to use
Easier than even the M13 . Everything has its own button and an easy to read legend
If you put the looper block in the same location on all of your scenes you can even flip between scenes with the looper still going!
    2. You can run in Quadrophonic if you want and still have 2 XLR feeds going into the PA

It gets the Pete Thorn seal of approval. Some great sounds in this demo

I thought that sounded great apart from the fuzz tone

Someone on the gear page described the sounds as meh from earlier demos.

As such, on the helix, line 6 has created a patch called 'challice full of meh'!! There's even a footswitch to add more meh!!

Great sense of humour whatever you think of the sound!

    That's fab :)

I thought the tones were fine but the track spectacularly generic, but it's only a demo so clearly not intended to be a hit single.

As a flat-dweller with not enough time to play guitar plugged into pedals and amps the more I read the more I feel I'm going to end up with a Helix.

You won't regret getting one, it still impresses me after a few months of ownership .

    Fuck.

Just watched Pete Thorn's demo... it sounds incredible

I gassed hard, I even did the maths on selling my pedals etc to afford it.

I struggle to play/record guitar at home because of the baby, and this could be a god send for demoing tracks

fuck fuck fuck, thanks for nothing Pete Thorn.

Out of interest, can you set one of the switches to toggle between sounds. So instead of reverb on/off, it is a reverb a and reverb b toggle?

Yes. You can do that on the POD HD even. Set one switch as an on off to multiple efffects.

You can switch amp models as well using the same technique

Not quite that sorry, So instead of:
    On/off
     I want it to toggle:
    VerbA/VerbB

So there is no way to turn it off with the switch, only switch between (sorry if I'm not clear!)

    Yes
You you set one on and one bypassed
When you hit the switch the bypassed on switches in and he active one bypasses
