Well that's our best ever result in New Zealand!

2 consolations at the end made the score line more respectable.

Again couldn't live with them for a short period in the second half-how many times do they do that?

Lineout is a major issue, cost us points and IMO with a better lineout we put them under a lot more pressure.

Yep, but a decent effort in parts and an acceptable scoreline. According to the bbc live text that's 40 games at home unbeaten for the ABs. Some record.

@gassage - think the ABs could start with 13 against most teams and still come up with the win. Turning point might have been cruden's injury, bringing Barrett into the game earlier than planned.

I think Crudden going off unsettled them for a bit and we came into it.

There was a couple turning points, the 5m lineout was huge, there was a 10m lineout we fucked up which ended in a try and the lineout that got pushed out at the end of the first half too.

Non YC for taking the man out doesn't help either.

NZ basically crushed our tight 5, scored a couple quick excellent tries and that was the game-we were knackered at the end but don't have the players to bring on to give some energy to the team.

Interesting. He's not suddenly a rubbish coach, but I think the Welsh setup is looking tired and could do with a change. Is also be fearful that he'd play a bunch of Welsh lads who are increasingly trading on reputation against better options from other nations.

I think the deals already done, Eddie Jones has ruled himself out, but he'd be my pick.

I hope Gatland picks the right players, not his favourites.

Last time a lions coach picked his mates on a tour to New Zealand was SCW and it was a bloody disaster.

You're not kidding. Unbelievable to recall that he appointed Alastair Campbell.

As a Welshman I thought his treatment of Shane Williams as a crash ball winger was ridiculous. It was a step too far for SCW. Superb coach that he was.
