There are a number of people who treat the forum as a cheap version of ebay, and don’t contribute much else. A subset of these break the Classified rules. The first time they get a written reminder. The second time Classified access is removed until they acknowledge they they’ll play by the rules. Patience runs out if they do it repeatedly, and access is removed permanently. We don’t have to ban them because they don’t come back. Johnnysixstring threw his toys out of the pram at step two.

Generally there are three toys:

2. The moderators are power crazed Nazis.

Member Russianbear has lost their classifieds access. 

This is due to repeatedly deleting prices, but moreover for being a hidden trader who was clearly using the forum for profit, and for nothing else, and not declaring it.

Other hidden traders take note. Though I doubt any of you will read this as you don’t actually visit other parts of the forum apart from the classifieds....

Xbaxxx is in the cooler.

He’s had a busy day breaking multiple rules, such as insulting others, derailing a classifieds thread, carrying arguments over to other threads, starting a fake classified ad and then deleting all the content, and baiting other members. 

All in all he must be pretty worn out, so he’s enjoying an extended rest. The bed in the cooler isn’t the comfiest, but at least it’s (mostly) warm and dry.

Xbaxxx is now banned, after evidence has come to light that he’s a trader, has blatantly used the classifieds for profit, and refused to declare it to the modmins.

6or4 has been banned for repeatedly trying to sell a Nash which carries a Fender logo. He was in full knowledge of why this is a banning offence having been directed to these threads:

JJW had a habit of ignoring Classified rules, and his Classified access was withdrawn earlier this year. JJW and JJ51 have now been banned for creating a second user ID in order to continue posting adverts.

Gretschjet's classifieds access removed, on the grounds that he's been using the classifieds to grab cheap stock for his business, which he then flips on eBay at inflated prices.

A STRONG REMINDER FOR ALL: The classifieds are for personal use only, unless you've been blessed with the tFB Trader tag, which is for those businesses who've shown they can be trusted by supporting our community. There are no exceptions to this rule.

fenderfever has been banned for not declaring that Fenderfever.com is a trader. His alter ego Xbaxxx was recently banned for underhand trading. Caveat emptor, or in this case seller too.
