    Nope, not a lot in it. The original is just a little more polished. The FNM version has a little rawness in there. I like it raw...

    Sound of Silence is tricky. The Disturbed version is hammy, tbh, but the original recording by S&G is twee and overblown. 

    The best versions are the live ones. This is heartbreaking

    I'd actually agree with him here. Musically, the Disturbed version fits the tone of the lyrics much better than the original (which always sounded glib and twee to me).

    You're all crazy, the original is incredible with an absolutely beautiful vocal performance.  I strongly dislike the aesthetics of the vocal tuning on the recorded Disturbed version it takes away any pain or emotion from it.  His pushed/raspy voice is incredible though.
