we forget that our history is so amazing cos we have so much of it and are surrounded by it..

so we think it's just ordinary stuff..

I had a friend come over from Dallas a few years ago

I took him to Dover castle.. which anyone that's been there will know is a proper fighting castle [rather than a big flash mansion]..

it absolutely blew him away..

the age of it.. the sheer size of it.. they have nothing like this in the US..
