  • @paulnb57 I love those ‘reverse’ strats.
Might have to give one of those a go at some point.
The rest are also super cool.

Currently putting the finish on build #75.  I've lost track of the total number including partscasters

Posted before but not in this thread I don't think.

Body is an SC Relics in Lake Placid Blue from @GoldenEraGuitars ;; that I got ahead of my son being born so I would not worry about it getting bashed. I love it as much today as I did when I received it. Some of the dings belong to me now

    Mark Foley Pre-CBS 60s pickups.
    Mark Foley Bridge
Charles Guitar LUXE STRAT 1961 - 1968 PRE-WIRED KIT electrics harness but with  a new brilliant volume pot I recently made a thread about - https://www.thefretboard.co.uk/discussion/251923/for-strat-tele-players-and-fuzz-face-users#latest

Scratchplate is a lot less red in real life than it looks in phone pics and is from Art of Aging with and aluminium shield plate underneath.

2006 Classic Player 60s Neck with rosewood 12-inch radius fingerboard and 21-frets from my old guitar. As per the pictures I may have rather stupidly marked the wood up the top when I was learning to tidy up fretwork. Can't usually see it unless looking close. Still got the old neckplate I should probably replace!

It's the best sounding guitar I have ever owned and probably the best sounding Strat I have ever played. Needs a setup though because I'd like like the trem to stay in tune a bit better.

Strap I have had for about 30 years.

By the way as a PSA I'd love to swap this neck for a maple board 21 fret neck (preferably 7.25" or 9.5" radius) if anyone was willing. Reverse headstock, big headstock or lefty so I can have it reverse even better.  Never had a maple neck and always fancied one and these days getting a Musikraft one made is a luxury I cannot afford.

My Trade Feedback Thread is here

Been uploading old tracks I recorded ages ago and hopefully some new noodles here.

Partscasters are the only way you can get the guitar features you want. This is number 13 in a series of builds, made with local timber from neighbours’ gardens. Number 14, with a different bridge, is on the workbench.

The body cross section is a key feature of this guitar.

It's a good excuse... why not!

    Guitar Build body
Aliexpress neck (way better than I expected for £65 delivered nitro)
    Tonerider Vintage Plus pickups
    Steve/Manchester Guitar Tech nitro

It all went together really well, almost a bit boring cause it worked well with little tweaking!

@Creed_Clicks cheers. yep all the bodies are handmade. Necks aren't. Fun to make, not perfect but they out ok. Based on fidelity guitars and ben wassers.
