The 1st thing you do when you pick up a Strat is start playing SRV licks...especially Pride and Joy....

also if you have very fast, narrow vibrato..sounds terrible IMO

and finally....if you turn your nose up at my Squier JV

A few things...

1 - I didn't, but if somebody bought one of these it'd be about £1200 I think
2 - The guy's a well-respected luthier on here, and it's better than any Fender I've ever played
3 - Careful what you say next, strange things might happen to your account depending on how you describe my guitars

He generally doesn't; I think there are only four in existence. One pink prototype, my two and one with P90s in it owned by somebody who's a lot closer to A-list than I am.

To my shame I also judge people for this when i should know better, I have alot of expensive gear which i enjoy owning and playing at uni i played 4 hours ago and was a reasonable player now i work full time, have a social life and am working hard to lose weight and am studying for work related courses i am not half the player i used to be.
I also suffer from severe anxiety which means that I can nail those gary moore solos at home but put me up on a stage and suddenly I cant remember what key anything is in or how to play anything but about 3 licks.
Fair enough if you judge a professional gigging musician for there kit but think twice before you judge a stranger at a jam night for what they play.

A hell of a lot must've happened in those 4 hours.
