Trussrod adjuster at the dusty end

What *really* pisses me off though... is the ridiculously regressive, pointless, Luddite return to archaic mechanical switching for pedals, when the problems it causes had been solved by the mid 80s - until "boutique" pedals came along and reintroduced them.
Why does it piss me off? Because it means there are loads of otherwise really cool pedals which I just won't even consider buying because they have a crappy metal mechanical switch (or even just a 'soft' imitation of one).

A natural ability to make a guitar play even worse whenever I try and fix something that's bugging me
