It's the name of my business which is a small, online retailer of guitar fx pedals and related gear. The name "funny little boxes" itself comes from my wife; when I first got into collecting pedals she didn't have a clue what the strange looking things lined up along the top of the piano were and just asked me outright one day "What are these funny little boxes" and the name has stuck ever since.

I've long since given up the rocks tar dreams I had when I was fifteen. I guess my main musical ambition now is to continue being able to earn a living from something associated with playing guitar that allows me to be surrounded by awesome guitar gear and talk to people about it all day!

My MIM Fender Telecaster in Tidepool Green. Got it in '03 and I think I will always love it over any other piece of gear.

I keep my "identities" for different online interests completely separate, but one of the themes for "technical" interests is IDs starting with k - khaotic/khaotix was just the latest one that came to mind

To start with, as a complete noob fresh from my first hour of making it make noises, to be able to play something vaguely recognisable as a tune from my yoof - so simple early punk songs from bands "barely know how to play guitar" eras

Its the name of what will eventually be my content creation studio. A big dream for a 40yr old man with family and a full time job, but I'll give it a go! Its also what I go under for building pedals and custom wrapped guitars and basses.
