Traded it for solid-state Marshall head and a four x 12 cab.
Sold that as it wasn't very good.
Got an Intermusic 50watt combo which was also crap but had a good speaker celestion g12 75 iirc. Often got used as an extension cab.
Bought an eighties reissue Vox ac30 awsome but probably couldn't lift it now.
Also bought a fender champ II which I still have.
Traded the ac 30 for a Marshall jcm900 combo
Still got it.
Bought a dsl401 as no clean channel on jcm900. Still got but would happily swap it for an Origin 20 head.
Got a Jet city 50H and Harley Benton 2x12.
Tec21 fly rig good for emergencies or gigs where an onstage is impractical but not great.
Marshall MG15 (who didn't?), then beefed up to...
Line6 Spyder II 212. Then I screwed my back up moving this thing (60lbs) and got a...
Orange Rocker 15w! Marvellous thing, but I only ever used it at 0.5w or 1w due to only really playing at home. So I then changed to...
Blackstar HT-5R combo! Which also permanently lives at 0.5w...
Marshall G30R CD - alright I guess
Yamaha Thr10ii - love it
Fender Deluxe Reverb Tone Master - got a bargain on it. Liking it so far
Mesia combo 1x12
Burman Pro 501 1x12 combo - pedal platform
Ibanez TSA5 1x10 combo (x2) - home practice
Fender Concert II 1x12 combo (Rivera era) - because of the cleans but really...ridiculously and impractically loud.
Fender Princeton Reverb II 1x12 (Rivera era) - just because of the cleans and more reasonable volume levels (but still a bit crazy)
Hand wired Princeton Tweed 5F2 1x10 clone - tone hunting
Boss Katana 50w Mk II 1x12 (x2 ) - out of sheer practicality, no amp tech within 600km of where I live.
I'm not sure if preamps count but if they do:
Burman GX3 preamp (serviced by MJW back in 2016)
Carvin Quad X-preamp
Still own all of the amps apart from the Mesia. Loving the low maintenance practicality of the Katanas. I will probably sell the Ibanez TSA5s and Concert II at some point.
[This space for rent]
Fender Bullet Reverb, 15W solid state. In hindsight probably a lot better than I gave it credit for at the time
Peavey Bandit, because everyone had a Peavey Bandit at some point around 1998-2004
Ashdown Peacemaker 40. First valve amp, paid for with my summer job when I was 18. I loved that thing. Probably worse than I gave it credit for
Crate practice thing. I have almost no memories of this beyond that I owned it.
Laney VC15. First amp I really loved. I must've played thousands of hours of gigs, sessions and rehearsals with that thing. I'd happily have another, but maybe in a bigger cab with a 12" speaker
Vox Night Train 15W. The only head I've ever had, I think. Nice sounding but too loud for what I needed at the time, and no MV
Fender Blues Junior. Had the full suite of BillM mods and was actually excellent. I can't remember why I sold this one. I probably wanted cash for a guitar
Laney VC30. For 2 days. Arrived wrapped in a bin liner with the reverb broken. Sounded good though.
Rivera Clubster 25. Gigged this for a year or so. A bit shouty but a fun little thing. Sold because no MV
Mesa Express 5:25. Replaced the Clubster with something more flexible, but I could never dial out the low end "thump"
Laney L5T 112 - A lovely idea and theory would be really great for me as a "bigger-but-smaller" VC15, but I didn't get on with it. Something about the single-ended strutcure I think.
Badcat Cub III 15R - lovely voxy box of goodness. Makes me curse when I'm having an off day but it's SO GOOD when everything is right
Yamaha THR10C - best plug & play practise solution I've had, and takes pedals really well too
Trinity 5E3 Tweed Deluxe kit (built by me) - great experience building it and it was lovely sounding but far too loud for an apartment even with power scaling.
Fender Tonemaster Deluxe Reverb - only had this a couple of weeks but it's wonderful. Some will always tell you it's expensive for "just a single-model modelling amp" but it sounds great and looks great and weighs next to nothing and cost half a regular DRRI. Brilliant.
I still have 3 of the last 4, so I think I'm becoming quite content in knowing my own tastes

Blackstar 10Ae Series one - Current
Unbranded 5w Tube amp from the 60's I still have somewhere
Line 6 Flextone III I think - Heavy as hell and awful - The only Amp I've purchased I don't still have

Mesa Nomad 45w
Marshall Origin 50c
Hamstead 60+RT
Line 6 Helix Floor
Marshall JCM800 studio 20w
Marshall TSL 60

Kemper Stage
With the options the Kemper gives me, I'd happily move all of my amps on and probably have a JTM45 or Mesa Cali Tweed as a back up. But selling amps is hard and I cba most of the time to bother. They look cool too all lined up and stacked.
pretty sure they can be picked up fairly cheap now, kinda wish i had the head rather than combo though.
Top Hat Supreme 16
Started with a little fender practise thing, dont remember what it was.
I was given a little sessionette? home practice amp which was ok to be fair.
Laney LC50R had this for years and loved it
Marshall DSL50 + 1936 cab of the four channel options I only liked one, hated the cleans
Orange Rockerverb mk1 + zilla 2x12 Sounded amazing at first but I couldn't get it to sit right in the band sadly
Mesa F50 didnt like anything about this, very sterile to my ears
Edit:forgot a couple
Blackstar HT20 not loud enough for gigs
Blackstar HT 40 still not cutting through what's going on?
Rivera Chubster combo this has been my main amp for a good few years now, still happy for the most part although it can be a bit dark.
Rivera Rake head and cab loved this but just too much for me and I only used it a couple of times, not practical for my use.
Still have an old Peavey solo 60 for jam duties.
Thr5 which I sold cos I got a Spark.
Loved the crunch on the independence.
Friedman Butterslax was great but no clean
Still have and use the EVH100iii
liked the DS and SS100
liked the bogners and CAA
liked the Einstein and Peavey Classic 50
dont really have a best just some channels from some amps!
70s Carlsboro 50w 2x12.

Lazy J20 fully loaded, another one.
Victoria 2012 tweed
Carr Rambler with Elsinore again - I gigged my first one unmiced and it did not have enough headroom, but people kept telling me they’re plenty loud enough so I had to try another one, I was right the first time.
Tone King Royalist 15
Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue
Lazy J20 unloaded - had to try another one, but still not enough headroom to gig with unmiced, just like the previous two.
Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue
1966 vintage blackface Fender Princeton Reverb
Lazy J20H - at last, a Lazy J20 that did have enough headroom to gig unmiced, but it got sooo hot after being on for an hour or so that I thought it might burst into flames!
1980 silverface Fender Princeton Reverb with 12” WGS G12C/S speaker - very loud.
Bloody hell, I’d no idea that I’d been through so many amps. I keep coming back to this list and adding another one I’ve just remembered.
Then there’s the amps I have but should probably move on:
Ross Fame 10 1x8 - bought new when they first came out, had it over 30 years, my ‘quiet‘ practice amp for decades, excellent ‘Tube Blaster’ mode!
Carvin Nomad - in storage but comes out if I ever need as much as 50 watts, which has been once in the last 20 years.
Laney LC15R 1x10, kept for nostalgia as I’ve had it 25 years+ but they are tidy little amps.
SJB Hornet with reverb - was originally a combo but was built into a tweed head with a gigantic replaced transformer before I got it.
And finally there’s the amps that I have no intention of moving on:
Cornell Plexi 18/20 head - brilliant amp, had this a dozen years and gigged it for about seven years before going back to combos with reverb, in my A/B test it totally blew away the Marshall 2061X head.
1972 Fender Deluxe Reverb silverface - bought off here a few years ago, a very well maintained example, G12H30 speaker, loud and sounds superb.
Yamaha THR10C - on semi-permanent loan to my daughter.
Rift PR18 in grey tweed - bought off here, I love a bit of amp reverb and tremolo and I love this amp, very loud and takes pedals brilliantly, if I could only have one amp...
Rift 5e3 prototype with reverb - only recently got this from Chris, sounds great so far, 12 watts like a Fender Tweed Deluxe, very nice reverb, WGS G12/C driver.
No doubt the journey will continue...
- Selmer Truvoice 1x10" (crocskin cabinet; magic eye tremolo)
- blonde Fender Bandmaster head with black Fender 1x15" JBL
- blonde Fender Tremolux with black Fender 2x10" and 2x12" cabinets
- Peavey Classic 2x12"
- Ampeg V4 with HH 4x12" (the hands down loudest amp on the planet)
- Ampeg blue diamond cloth Super Echo Twin (stereo 2x12" with reverb and tremolo; super rare amp, with incredible cleans, and very loud)
- Fender red knob 1x12" Champ
- Peavey Bravo 1x12"
- Hiwatt Custom 20 2x10"
- THD Univalve head with Mesa 1x12" cab
- Orange AD5 handwired 1x12"
- Victoria 5112 Champ-type
- Mesa Lonestar Special 1x12"
- Mesa Lonestar Special head with matching 1x12' cabinet
- Dr Z Carmen Ghia mini with Zilla 1x12" Dinky
- Dr Z Maz 8 Studio 1x12"
- Fender silverface Princeton Reverb with 12" WGS (I kept this for years and years, and really played the hell out of it; this is the @fretfinder 'very loud' PR)
- Mesa Blue Angel head with Mesa widebody 1x12"
- silverface Fender Vibro Champ
- silverface Fender Champ
- Bad Cat Classic Cat 1x12"
- Cornell Romany Plus
- Mesa Mark V:25 head with Mesa 1x12"
- Carr The Bloke 1x12" Elsinore
- Carr Rambler 1x12" Elsinore
- Hughes and Kettner Puretone 1x12" (also as loud as anything)
- Eli Abbott 5E3 clone with Scumback alnico (buzzed like a bee, but the most touch sensitive and organic amp I've ever played)
- silverface Fender Deluxe Reverb
- Lazy J20 with reverb and tremolo
- Rift Plexi 25 head (currently for sale here)
current lineup- Vox AC4HW 1x12" Greenback
- Mesa Blue Angel head (the same one that I bought and sold - and then bought back)
- Redplate Blackline reverb with Zilla 3rd Power 1x12" clone (Celestion Cream alnico)
It's quite a few, although I have to say that I've settled on three things my ears need to hear:- Fender-type cleans with lush reverb (my Blue Angel does this to perfection)
- Dumble-type cleans and overdrive (enter the Redplate)
- munchy crunchy: the Vox is a great practice amp, and does the lovely chime thing; it can also work as a good rehearsal amp for working out parts with one or two band members (when we were allowed to do that kind of thing)
What would I still like? Well, an Ampeg V2 I could bring back to perfect working condition, and a great 5E3 Deluxe style...Fender Princeton silverface. (Probably ‘78 or so).
Reuther 2408 (kind of GK ml copy).
Fender Deluxe silverface ‘74 (should never have sold that!)
GK ml 260 (1x12 combo... borrowed for a few years)
Fender Pro silverface (2x12... mid 70s)
VHT pitbull 2x12 combo.
