Look, I know I threw the previous replacement one I bought in the bin and reverted back to the old faithful Hinari, but I'm convinced this is the one for me. Forever.

Ahahahahaha. That's like me saying I have enough dirt pedals...........

You have to flip the bread with a grill too.

Well now, that's just fair! How can anyone really be expected to actually flip bread?!

And you can do cheese on toast by turning the toaster on its side.

Does that actually work?  Because my grill is broken.

Yes. Used to do when I was on ships. Cheese control is tricky, and you need to only lightly toast the slice first. Used to piss the ship's electrician off big time, keep having to clean out all the burnt cheese and shit.

I'm sad to report a drawback bigger than an elephant's foreskin with regard my newly-acquired 4-slot toaster.

The bog-standard Warbo's thick white, totally indigestible, and really bad for you, slice of bread just about fits, whilst buns, crumpets and muffins are easily devoured by its jaws with acres of room to spare. But pitta? You have to cut the end off them.

See? I knew I should have hung out until I'd researched a bit more thoroughly. I'm telling you, there's a gap in the market for a decent, 4-slice, long-slot job, and no-one has yet filled it. There's money to be made here, you mark my words.

And next weeks thread "I wish I'd bought a different toaster, this one over/under toasts my bread"

What, did I say. Proven right.

I concede the point, but at least it's for a different reason. :(

Someone, namely Chilli, didn't do his toaster homework properly.
