Indeed. It’s no laughing matter! Car needs to be dry or evidence of repair can be virtually impossible to spot. Hopefully it’s inside.

There's a problem and I need your help.

The rear left door and quarter is a slightly lighter green than the rest of the car.  I'm furious.  The manager has offered £150 off to get it repainted.  I'm inclined to walk away right now.

I can do it with 1 can, but can't promise it will look good and will guarantee it will look like a 1st attempt.

Let's talk serious here - if that is the case mate, then £150 isn't going to ease the pain, also, its always going to be on your mind and essentially spoil the whole thing - it would for me anyway - so, you either walk away and put it down to bad experience and day out on the train, get your deposit back as they didn't admit that when you phoned about it.

Or, as a main dealer, get them to source one that meets your criteria from the national stock and deliver to you or at least come to some sort of arrangement (Swansea Hyundai down on the Enterprise Park??)

Taking the piss if they haven't pointed that out until now...

There's also evidence of overspray on the little plastic bits on the roof and the bonnet doesn't line up perfectly.  I think I'm going to leave it.  I'm fucking livid.

To be honest, I'd probably leave it too at that kind of money - if they could fuck up the respray after a repair job, odds are they've been similarly cavalier with the repair itself.
