I already have one of the Kiora Orange Marr signature Jags - that I really like.
I basically followed this procedure,

From about 5:39s
You’ll need masking tape, scalpel, 1500 and 2000 grade wet and dry, microfibre cloth and some autosol polish.
Let me know if you want to try this method, it certainly worked a treat for me, and I now have silky shiny frets. Was quite a nice job to do.
I can post some a little pack to get you going with a scalpel, wet and dry and some autosol if you like.
I too am vanishing down the offset rabbit-hole
Bought a G & L Doheny, which is a Jazzmaster style offset with what I think is a strat bridge and trem (similar to American performer).
I liked the look of the J Mascis, so got one of them. Really great guitar for the money, but just didn’t quite click with it, so it went back.
Decided to take a brave pill, and went after an American Original in turquoise.
Nearly managed to snag one via Doug at Coda, but sadly it was already sold.
Kind of gave up, as stock levels seem very low everywhere, then happened to scan Andertons, and they had an AO in turquoise!
Arrived on Monday and it is just lovely. Very happy
Will have to adjust the fleet a bit to take a bit of the sting out of the purchase, but absolutely no regrets
So the frets were duly lightly emeried and then polished, some fretboard conditioner applied, and a single business card thickness shim in the neck pocket.
I also added some soft rubber tubing over the bridge support posts and some locktite on the bridge adjusters that have transformed my new arrival into a very playable addition to the herd.
A modded Squier J Mascis with Fender trem, Gotoh locking tuners, Seymour Duncan SJM2s, vintage rewire, tort pickguard and a Stew Mac neck shim. Very nice it is too....
Good to see photos of your offsets - keep 'em coming!
It's still waiting for me to get my act together and strip out the electrics and sort out what's amiss with the boost circuit. Levinson have been helpful providing me with wiring diagrams, I just need to get on with it.
