Are we talking "normal" submarine, or the near hypersonic one that the Chinese announced they have worked out how to build that will easily out-run most fast jets and some missles?? A normal sub can be a bit cramped and not exactly fast... but one that can get from China to Sanfrancisco in 100 minutes, you might be happy to be a bit cramped... though super-cavitation is also cool sounding
