I went to school with Michael Gay. Long since lost contact with him and occasionally wonder if he developed a lot of strength of character in a Boy Named Sue type scenario. 

The Gaylords also a 1950s Italian-American group and the Gay Lads who were a Jamaican ska band were  sometimes also known as The Gaylords. Really lost all track of what we are talking about now. FFS someone talk about the Tardis or sonic screwdrivers.

Well at least the casual homophobia is rare enough here it provoked a reaction!

But something else?  Easy... next week's finale.

If you freeze-frame the next time trailer you can see a shot of the real nasty behind Susan Triad, whatever it is ("The Boss" of the Meep, he who waits, the one even the Toymaker didn't screw with) or at least a drawing of it...

So we have a baddie that's...

Everywhere that the Doctor and Ruby go.
Something to do with Ruby's birth.
Going to presumably kick ass badly next week, and need stopping in part two...

I favour the Viz story of Dr Poo and the Turdis. At first glance it may seem childish, but it was actually a powerful and thought provoking piece which explored the discomfort and emotional anguish that one faces when they desperately need a crap and are prevented from doing so.

Again a good episode with some poor writing and some overacting. This series is very frustrating. It's like they are a take or draft away from a really good episode and yeah that's it.
It's not.

I thought it was tripe tbh, as has been the whole season - i mean, he cant go back in time to see who Rubys mother is yet can do some weird shenannigans on an old grainy vcr tape recording.
Been a fan since Pertwee but this just doesnt feel like DrWho to me at all - more like some sort of spin-off series.
And i wish they would recast Kate Stewarts character because Jemma Redgrave acts the part exactly the same as when she was in Holby City.

Seemed rather disjointed to me, just a rush to set up the finale. Although I might actually rewatch it so I can enjoy the finale. 

I've never watched Holby City but Jemma Redgrave seems only to be capable of a being a bit blank or panicked. I like my authority figures to have more of a sense of authority.

If you have been a fan for that long, you probably should be aware that not being able to go where he already is happens to be the only bit of continuity the show has ever been consistent about.
