Bellingham and Foden are supposed to be 2 of the best young players in the world.  Kane one of the best goal scorers in the world.  The rest of the team, as individual players, are proven successful PL players.

Southgate has suffocated them.  I’ve not seen a worse team (barring Scotland’s first game) in this tournament. How can he have taught a great group of players to be so negative?

I would like to see a heat map of where the ball went in possession because the left side of the pitch would be as cold as Antarctica. 

Bellingham ineffective. Walker and Pickford did well. 

I think we need to get used to Kane having 5 or 6 touches over 90 minutes and hoping he scores two of them.

So today is the longest day and the start of winter is now heading our way - So me and four mates decided to go to the pub and sit outside and watch the match - It all started of nice and exciting about 4pm - 5 pints later and a touch less sober I now realise that Rishi and Gareth have so much in common - So many assets available to them yet clueless as to how to utilise such assets

And as Churchill proclaimed over 70 years ago, never on the field has so little been delivered by so few

Deffo need gordon and mainoo on there at least to inspire bellingham and others. Terrible goalkeeping to let that one in. Was not catching the ball and pushing it back into his own penalty area like a sister does to her little brothers football. Very lucky goal for england as well. Hardly goal of the tournament.

 Again, psychology of entitlement, just like Man U. Amazed to see players saying they are pretty much through/ top of the group.  If denmark beat serbia, which they will.. then its all on england v Slovenia. Lose that and.... youre going home. If southgate doesnt change the squad dramatically and bring forth the younguns. Its tatty bye. England are crap when it really matters.

It is also the torys fault of course, complete malaise across the english public on absolutely everything. Gammon supporters culture only thing for team to fall back on. Hardly inspiring for the players or manager. No bagpipes, no welsh choirs, no irish fiddles, no festival/theatre of dreams mentality. 

As a welshman i thoroughly enjoyed watching it .

Thank god Mr Gunn has been on a goalkeeper induction course this week 

it’s so much nicer when England play like they did when I was a kid in the 70s.  It is so much less stressful, I then have no expectations.  I have learned this being a West Ham supporter

Next time, do the same - go to the pub with your mates and have a few beers.  Just don’t bother watching England “play”.  Much more enjoyable.
