Bands that don't fit their name

Pink Floyd - sounds like a name ("by the way, which one's Pink?"), but I think they're so ingrained in our collective psyche that the name means its own thing now.

Coheed and Cambria - again, sounds like it should be a pair of singer-songwriters.

Strapping Young Lad - sounds like they should be along the lines of Right Said Fred.

Pink Floyd kinda is a name as it’s a mix of (Googles…)Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. If you knew nothing about Pink Floyd other than the origin of their name you might assume they covered pre war country blues, so in that sense they don’t fit their name.

Lapdance Armageddon - sounds like some nu metal outfit when it's just a simple acoustic duo.
