    Lots of action
Yep, Brazil's normally a good race. My own pet idea to make F1 more interesting is to stage every race at Spa, Montreal, or Sao Paulo...
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

At least RoGro has learnt something.

This could spice things up - F1 drivers will be forced to make two pitstops, as well as face a strict limit on how long they can stay out for, if proposals for new 2014 tyre rules are accepted by teams next month. No more tyrre strategy ...

Maldonado got the Lotus seat :(
Understandable as they need his finance but what a travesty. Wonder where Hulk is going?

Hulk's apparently gone to Force India ...

With all the messing around with fuel and tyres next year will it be another crap year I just want to see the drivers race not be held back by fuel and tyres they will have enough problems with the engines and how many they can use :(

@Ianpdg In fairness it looks like the tyre issues will go away with a madatory two stops and a maximum number of laps you can do on one set without getting a drive through penalty.

  • I don't think the 2-stop thing is likely to go ahead, but I don't think it'd be a bad idea.

With the new engine and aero regs I'd like to see them just racing properly. If they've done it right they won't need DRS anymore so that could be ditched after next season maybe?

Why don't we have something radical here: tyres that will last the whole race so no need to change them, fuel tanks big enough to last the whole race, so no need to refuel, and NO QUALIFYING!  Where you finish the last race is where you start the next one - simples!  Noobs start at the back and work their way forward!

I am being (slightly) tongue in cheek about this, but I am royally pissed off with the current state of it.  I've been watching it since about 1975, and it's not getting better.

Qualifying should be one car out at a time, one chance.

They did that for a few years, was very dull to watch.

No.  The grid should be reverse order of where they finished the previous race.  Make the good drivers work for the top positions..

I remember it, I liked it more than the faux-spectacle they have now.

  • A good clip of Vettel at the Autosport awards. Red Bull PR mode had clearly swapped for "beer" mode, and much better for it :)

Double points for the last race of the season from now on.

    Crap idea.

  • Yeah. Artificial excitement. It will probably work but it feels like they are admitting defeat - as if they can't make the sport itself exciting so they'll play silly-buggers with the scoring system. It's watering down the racing.

  • Total balls.

They're also attempting cost cutting again, which will never work. RB, Ferrari and Merc will just have their own "outsourcing" companies to do the work and bill it to the race team at a cheap rate.

Fixed driver numbers would be good, on the proviso that those numbers have to be displayed large on the nose and sidepods/rear wings
