yep, sparkling burgundy came around the mid 60s i think, mines faded a lot though, much lighter in real life. There's a fair few of these kicking about in the States, I saw 3 on my last trip!

Which is your favourite to play?
^ Sold a while ago. Was the cheapest way into Gibson's golden era at the time I bought it: £900. Bought from Loot (remember that?) when I was just searching for a P90 pickup. Big old '59 neck together with that neck joint meant I never really got to grips with it past the 12th fret. Sounded great and was very lively with a bit of amp gain.
^ Slim early '60s neck and PAFs = my sweet spot.
