I'm very sorry John, having "virtually" met you it brings me great pain and sadness that you and your family have to go through this.

There's nothing I can say here that others haven't said already but I can't think of anything worse to happen. It's every parents worst nightmare come true and you have my sincere condolences. A friend of mine lost his eight year old in a car accident about five years ago. He once said to me that you never get over it, but you do learn to live with it. Take care of yourself and your family.

Hello all just to say that I have shown this to my Wife and eldest lad and we are as a family completely overwhelmed by the compassion shown by you all, it is a comfort that we can all understand the pain these events cause and give genuine sympathy.

It is also very heartening to read through all the comments and know that how very kind people you hardly know other than online can be such a comfort.

If I had a hat I would tip it off to you all.

This forum is a great place to come good times and bad times.

He was going to sign up here and get into the support and great source of information he enjoyed as a lurker.

I so wish we could have jammed more and got around to rehearsing and gigging, as usual shit always got in the way.

He had all the flaws and anxieties we all have at some point in our lives or more but he was a very gentle guy always willing to help others out, and his smile could and did light up a room.

I was never prouder as father when he and his brother (with a crowd of mates) to support us and actually enjoy the gigs.

Peace to you all and thanks once again for your collective generosity of spirit.
