The Pro S4 I have isn't AS twangy as a Fender strat but it's still pretty twangy... but distorted I think it sounds much better than a Fender - so on the whole I think it's such a great guitar.
One day I'll try an Anderson strat type guitar.

Had it been TWO guitars I'd have said a 335 and a tele without hesitation. But one? I'm going for P90s in that case. Probably my K-Line Truxton Special, which is rapidly becoming my favourite guitar.

IMHO a guitar that tries to do too much loses character. I had a coil tap put on my LP by accident. I took my guitar in to have Lollars and 50s wiring installed. They assured me they had the pickups in stock. They only had a 4 thingy neck. So I told them to wire it for splitting and they used a switch on the tone control. At 8 the tone is full at 10 the coil taps on.

It still sounds like a LP and the 50s wiring Sozo cap works very well. But theres a Strat tone (sort of) if you need it.
