Both will work, but if you use a Boss one that takes an ACA adaptor you'll need to compensate in the IR.

The acoustics division of the big consultancy I worked for 8 years ago or so just used balloons for most spaces, then they had a calibrated pink noise and impulse generator for more complex stuff where greater accuracy was needed. They modelled all sorts of things - tunnels, railway stations, concert halls and more.

At least with this update it should be impossible to brick the helix in future from a failed update. A pretty essential update that should have been there from the start.

Nice - check out the OwnHammer IR's (assuming you've not got a million IR's already anyway), they make a hell of a difference to an already good (IMO) sound.

Yup - Andertons had sold the entire order a week before it came in. Most of the next shipment is sold too, or so they said.

Also I was planning on making my own IRs. With, presumably, hilarious consequences.

If you do this could you give them more evocative names than Bog-2-12-sm57-1. Maybe Blue Steel or Capacious Buttock.
