The LP with the p90 and HB combo looks good.
Same layout as my old BFG. A great pup combo that was.

Always fancied the BFG but never got around to buying one, always wanted to beautify one slightly, same plan I had for my LPJ that I've not changed a thing on :D

I have a huge list of LPs I want, like the voodoo, smartwood etc

  • I just ordered a traditional to try.

The Signature stinks , the hologram is laughable but I'd like to give the wide neck a go- quite a few times I have a had new nut cut as I wanted more clearance on the E's.

The robot tuners I can take or leave and the zero fret, who knows. But that is a good piece at £899.

  • Interestingly the only one I can find on ebay that's sold second hand sold for more than £800....

I can imagine most people won't lose too much on these prices if they hold on to them for a little while past the memory of these sales...?

The Less Paul at £749 is also pretty cool, probably my favourite of the bunch.
Beware - try before you buy....it's a really odd guitar in the flesh and imagine it'll plummet in resale value.

  • I reckon the 2015 sprint run guitars will be worth something in the future...

I'm think LP junior in sunburst (as they seem to be cheapest) with a view to getting it refinished in a mat copper finish, and get headstock done while I'm there.

  • Happy to have inspired some gassing! @iseverynamegone let us know how you get on. Have been tempted myself by a Trad - I emailed them to ask about individual pictures / weights but no reply. Guess it's luck of the draw. Still tempting...

Back around 06-07 when the BFG was first released. I imported around 5 of them in from Canada as they were so cheap. Sold them here and nearly doubled my money.

They went on to become ridiculous prices

  • The LPM's at £419 are insanely priced. Might grab one of them to with the double cut special

  • @redrighthand. Yes I rang and asked
For pictures of tops and weights and was met with a stony silence. I guess they have gained the rep for being dikwads for a reason.

I did call Peach and GAK for a price
Match but both said they couldn't get near that price so I plumped regardless.

Let's see what turns up, if it's duff I'll drop it back to them

I did much the same thing from Thomann but back when they were £1400! I loved the sound but the neck was just painful.

I bought the returned Pelham blue delux from Amazon
It went down to £712 before I couldn't resist it anymore
30 day return so I thought ..what the fuck

I'd be very interested to hear about the condition - it was described as 'good' (as opposed to 'very good' or 'like new' on the Amazon scale) so I'm wondering what this actually means.

Interesting in "real life" pics the ebony model looks brown - much nicer IMO:

  • I have to say I get more and more tempted to pull the trigger on
Either the junior or the Les Paul Classic

I presume you can pull out the boost and replace the coil tap with a decent tone pot with a bit of DIY.

I have a great set of Timbuckers sitting in a box at the moment that would drop in nicely along with a decent harness.

Ho Hum Cheery Sunburst is always a lure

    I'll take pics etc
I'm not too worried about the odd ding and scratch.. but if its more than that its going back
Then there is the Asymmetric necks.. how can you tell if they are warped or not :)
I'm hoping there will be a good few of these returned as people don't get on with the necks
