@capo4th what is a 'typical' leave voter?

    I'm rather curious.
according to posts appearing on my fartbook today, leave voters are :
    (A) people worried about refugees who are basically the same as right-wing skinhead thugs
    (B) another says that remainers are considerate open hearted people, but... Brexit people are....

It's a pretty disappointing thing to see such nasty insults flying around

You know who I am referring to..... Those leave voter types who have long lists of reasons about speed cameras, bananas and builders.

quite a good presentation, mainly addressing how much law there is to deal with - he claims that the UK govt simply permits the ECJ to overrule our courts, I'm not certain that's the full story - does the EU not compel the UK govt to acquiesce?

he warns of all those trade agreements the EU has with other countries that will be lost, and that India, China and the USA won't be interested. Well none of those have a deal with the EU either, and the EU has ZERO trade deals with any significant countries

His job is funded by the EU, he has the Jean Monnet chair http://www.jeanmonnet-emu.eu/support/funding, so cannot claim to be impartial.

AFAIK, he got his job for being an EU fanboy, and he talks with admiration about the complexity of the EU legal structure. He therefore believes that it will take 10 years to replace. How long did it take to rebuild Europe after WW2?

I don't believe his views are impartial, seems like a genuine bloke though, but as I say - an EU fanboy, bankrolled by the EU

Soros has now stuck his head above the parapet.

There must be some kind of timetable for wheeling out Remain talking heads, becuae it seems to me like it's being choreographed.

Don't buy it personally, but not surprised this kind of thing has come up:

Yes, a slight oversight by whoever put the picture together.

Were they having two votes? Or is the first comment about voting the leave the EU also wrong as well? It looks like it might be.

20s on Google suggest it's total bollocks. They had a referendum on the EU in 1994 and the 2003 one was solely on the Euro. And "no" won.

Worrying to think how far that meme has been shared.

I'm flying into the UK on Friday afternoon. Do I need the EU queue for passports or the foreign one?

That is one thing I struggle with. Most of the major economies are trying to subtly devalue their currency, but the remain camp make it sound like a bad thing.

More exports, and potentially cheaper housing sound like a great thing to me.

UK exports are relatively inelastic which is why the last time the pound dropped exports didn't increase much. Imports will cost more leading to an increase in the price of the average households weekly shop.

Yes .. garbage. The Dutch speed camera one is naff as well as we buy lots from South Africa. And the speed camera meme should at least say the Netherlands .. Holland is just a province.
