    Chop change chop change, round and round we go...

    I’d been using the Big Sky on the same plate setting for months and months, so thought I’d try something else.

    I like, I like a lot.

    Just playing around with as least pedals as possible for max options. The vintage gigrig gives me some options, volume boosts for lead sounds and a secret tremolo function. The SLO and Boss Harmoniser are new. The SLO gives me swells and reverb. The Boss gives me pitch bend and chorus. There's supposed to be an organ simulator but it's no POG.

    I've always thought the +7 & -5 setting was a really pleasing faux organ on the PS-6, swelled in with the volume pedal. No actual POG like, but still...

    * A PS-200 would be killer.

    I tried a patch with the SLO with the PS6. It's ok and in my band it will work.

    Hybrid setup with the QC. I'm finding the usability and ease of getting excellent sounds from the QC is leading me to get a few pedals out again! To be honest it doesn't really need all of them, but they do sound nice and are excellent fun...

    Woah.

    That's an epic board.

    Bye!

    Sound. I don't think it tracks as well as a micro POG for straight ahead octave stuff and some of the settings are purest cheese. Good at the pitch bendies though.

    I'm using settings pitch bend for octave up or down, chorus and ' not a POG'.

    I've got two other boards a big one that does everything mainly due to a mel9 and synth9 and a little one consisting of a two channel overdrive/boost and a delay with modulation.

    I've never posted on here, so thought it was about time, since I'm putting a new board together. I need to get some lower profile patch cables so I can cram on some more dirt and delay!

    Setup wet/dry through the QC for recording it's proving quite effective...

    Not the tidiest of boards. There’s room for a few more but I’m pretty happy with it tbh.

    Thanks, Gav. If I remember correctly, I got the Barbershop on your recommendation. Love it, cheers!

    low to medium gain, nice and transparent. I more or less have 2 of them stacked; a Modele B is an always on version, then I have a Barbershop to add for more juice.
