I've given up on the idea of a Discovery to tinker with and use for day to day transport.
MG TF on it's way soon. They are dirt cheap with virtually no miles on the clock
Yes I know about K-Series head gasket. I used to have an elise (pushing out 190bhp)

Chilli, what is a good garage floor paint?  The floor in mine turns to dust and dechunks, when you drag a engine stand across it.  Is there a cheap penetrating epoxy about?

I still have two BOA engines I want to do something with.  Like medieval tech these days.

Anyone with a bow saw and a jack saw with a wooden handle hanging on a hook never does any carpentry is my guess.

I used Coo-Var garage floor paint from Brewers, but there's any number of them. Once the paint is properly dry, it's reasonably tolerant, but dragging stuff across it will take the shine off. I repaint it very 5 years, and if you drop oil on it, it's easy to wipe up, and it eliminates dust. Epoxy is best, but as you say, it depends on how much dosh you've got. I didn't price it up, though. I'm looking into the Plasfloor tiles, too.

BOA? Are they the Cossie jobs?

Nope, it's not a Lotus Elite. You'll just have to wait and see.

I'll go for Esprit S3 or an Aston Martin DB5.
Only joking about the DB5, if you had that much money you'd be able to afford to pay someone to paint your garage :)
