I had the original on PS3 but didn't really get into Dark Souls until much later. I thought the remake would be a good way to get into the start of the series but I just couldn't get on with it.
I still go back and play Dark Souls occasionally but, at this point, I think I'm unlikely to pick up Demon Souls again.
On Skyrim - it was one of the first things I downloaded to my Steam Deck despite the fact I'd it to death already. I've genuinely lost track of how many times I've bought the game - I think I've had it on PS3, PS4 (the first remaster), Steam and Switch. Played it through to completion several times and always have a run in progress (currently an elf mage specialising in conjuration). Despite all this, I've never done the Dragonborn DLC - it's like I'm holding it reserve just so I've got some "new" Skyrim content should I need it. Serious contender for my all time favourite game.
Supraland is exquisite.
Yeah, demons souls is a pretty faithful remake, which means it is a bit clunky still. I like what it is, but dark souls did it better. I am enjoying it, but not in the obsessive way I had to finish dark souls - it just doesn't have the atmosphere.
That's the concern, is access to the Games Catalogue, really worth an extra £40 a year, we play MMOs, RPG's, and the selection is rather limited and eclectic to say the least, nothing has caught our attention or jumped out at us, and the ones that we do recognise, we've already played already or have found to be extremely disappointing and given up on.
I've started a game and it's honestly completely charming and basically a final fantasy game. If I could change one thing, I'd turn off the character shouting the name of the move you've just used on the enemy ("VOLCANO!").

You can have it tomorrow.
Ideally, you want to put on a custom OS (Garlic OS), and then split the OS and game into separate SD cards, at least more reliable than the random one that it comes with. But it works right out of the box as is.
The PS5 is absolutely a much more powerful console than the PS4 Pro. It has ray tracing, 8K (coming), over twice the GPU power, UHD Blu Ray, 8 core CPU at 3.5GHz and the new controller is definitely next gen.
The only reason we may not see huge differences in the performance is because it's at the beginning of it's cycle and the PS4 was at the end, so there's crossover. Spider-Man 2 looks to be a seriously demanding game, and it will surely showcase the potential of the PS5.
But objectively, it is a much more advanced piece of tech than the PS4 Pro.
