Not keen on Saka as a LB but at least it adds a bit of balance with a natural left-footer on the left. Trippier has to cut back on his right when in crossing positions. I wonder who the other centre back will be alongside Stones as Guehi is suspended. I presume Walker will go inside as RCB.

So German power, control and efficiency v Spanish flair - Hard one to call and I suspect Spain have. abetter chance of beating France if it came to a semi final clash - But my gut today says the German's will win

Then Ego 7 v Ego 10 - Hope Portugal win - Had many happy holidays there - Had a few in France as well but never got insulted (2/3 times) in a Portuguese bar/restaurant

I think we are certainly seeing the winners in this match. Germany have been typically efficient, functional and calms in defence and peppering the goal in second half. One of best games thus far. Quality of football is superb and its a good clean game.

Terrible defending Spain. Every man should be back on the 88th minute. No excuses. 

Heads seem to be down a bit, but nevertheless the diving remains impressive so should be capable of getting another one back.
