Fabulous.  Yes, Mazepin will undoubtedly just spin it straight into the pit wall as soon as the lights go green.

Great stuff so far. Brilliant racing into that first corner from Max and Hamilton. Some ballsy stuff from Norris and others too. Perez seems to be having a bit of a mare, rookie error under the SC.

Well, those wilderness years as a McLaren fan seem to be well and truly over.

My F1 fan plan since the 70s has been to support:

1/ McLaren team whoever is driving 

and

2/ a British driver for their full career

Occasionally they overlap (eg Button) and that's the case again now with Lando - finally a reason to smile on a Sunday! :-)

Yeah, it’s a huge relief to see McLaren back near the front where they should be. I’m so hugely impressed with how Zak has turned the team around with 3 great drivers plus Seidl. I pray they get the ‘22 spec right

(My conspiracy hat says Bottas bringing out the safety car is very convenient when Lewis has a slow lap and needs to pit...!)

Lando and McLaren are looking good for my fantasy team, but Alonso and George not so much...! 

Ham is restarting 9th and a lap down but on softs. I assume they're just to banzai it the rest of the race and see how high they can get. EDIT: Ham not a lap down. I'm confused. Anyway.... LANDOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I reckon podium but not 2nd. It'll depend on how well Leclerc has held on to his tyres while Lewis passes him
