Unbelievable for Sainz but at least Leclerc gave Max a spanking. He just need a couple more good races like that and he’s right back in the fight

Eh?  Overtaking a-plenty, LeClerc repeatedly reeling Max in and giving him a spanking, and a nailbiting finish with Charles coaxing an ailing Ferrari home?  What's not to like?

Great race, enjoyed it more as Max was overtaken easily 3 times by Leclerc, here's hoping Ferrari can sort out their self immolating engine and make it a closer fight. Otherwise Max will take his first title.

As everyone's whipping boy for most of the last 2 seasons they deserve it. Great car and cool driving from both guys. And they haven't even brought any upgrades yet. Not looking like wankers anymore

Really good race.  Pity about Sainz, for him but also the championship.  Farrari look like reliability will cost them at least one of the championships.

Crazy the pace change between MV and the Ferraris Saturday to Sunday.  The cars seem really sensitive to tyres this year, some cars work well with some tyres and other cars other tyre compounds.
Slight change in temp/weather and it changes again.  Suppose it’s always been like that but in this instance it made for a close race.

It’s a great little circuit as well.

I remember that first incident, and the talk about Schumi squeezing DC off the track... looking at it now so many years later it's amazing to see how much room he had, and how much more agressive the squeezes are today.

That’s pretty subtle compared to Verstappen’s blatant shoves.

I’m amazed that they did “France - 5 dramatic moments” and completely overlooked Arnoux vs Villeneuve.

Love DC apologising for the finger for a relatively minor squeeze by today's standards, and at low speed. 

These days it'd be a quick "he can suck my balls" on the radio and crack on! I'm not even sure that stewards would look at that one
