I’m enjoying how much of a hype vacuum Miami has become in comparison to last year. Apparently ticket sales haven’t been the great and they are really pushing discounts

I’m guessing paying a thousand bucks to spend 3 days sitting next to a cardboard Marina isn’t that attractive when you’re in.. you know.. Miami

Me looking ahead to the Miami GP weekend:

Seriously, looking back on the 2022 season I couldn’t remember if Miami had actually been or if it was one which was to be a 2023 addition.  It was only when someone reminded me “cardboard marina” that I twigged and said “oh yeah, that one”.

I couldn’t even remember it being a boring race.

As long as it's not on a melting car park like it was previously although it adds an element of danger which might make it actually interesting!

I was there at the end of August, and it was 104F. Hopefully, the temperature will have dropped by the time the GP is run.

With Vegas being a complete facade, it should dovetail with the F1 circus nicely, although I’m keeping an open mind until I’ve seen it to comment.
