I wouldn't fire Max.

I'd just bench him whenever I felt like it. There won't be anything in the contracts that forces the team to let the driver race. There will be break clauses like - if he gets under X points then he can go. But that's easy enough to allow. Then bench him.

His pitstops might start taking 40 seconds too.

Which I don’t think is a valid reason for suspension as Ver Sr has no position within RBR or the wider RB organisation

Jeez! And just before Horner has the TP press conference. In the country where they'll stone you to death for adultery... 

Can't help feeling they think they can just sweep all of this under the rug, but that is very unlikely to happen in the modern world. ESPECIALLY when the season is lining up to be another potential Max-fest

BBC now saying that RB suspended her for some form of dishonesty.

That could be having £5 from the petty cash, or it could be something actually serious.


Redbull Press team / PR guys are so bad at this. They know what they are doing about winning races, and for this they are dropping the ball every single time.

It could all have been a total fabrication, but it could also true enough to do a hush job.  Without some details people will probably be inclined to think the latter.

If another woman in the RB team was being subject to harassment or coercive behaviour by anyone then I can't see the way that this has been handled making it easier for them to report their concerns.

The details will probably come out eventually, it might all be a storm in a teacup, but the determination of RB and CH to keep a lid on it doesn't make it look good.
