From what I gather it was decided in the morning which ever maclaren driver was ahead after lap two or so would be protected to win the race
OK, seems a bit of a weird agreement with 70 laps of unknowns ahead. Doesn't sound like a mature team strategy to me and fails to recognise drivers personal ambitions, Lando has a long shot at the driver championship and conceded 8 points for that.

    That Ver Ham clash - I did a lol…

“He moved under braking” - he hasn’t changed a bit

"Moved under braking" or maybe turned into the corner because that's the way the track goes.

Whereas Verstappen didn't move because he was locked up and heading straight on.

    Exactly what Rosberg said.
He was thoroughly enjoying stirring it up!

To be fair, that's Max on a charm offensive.

Interesting race on a not so interesting circuit.

Mclaren’s team orders didn’t make sense, I get they want to keep it fair and stick to the plan but why would you take points away from the driver closest to the leader?

Noris was faster by that point but ultimately he needs to start better, it’s his achilles heel.

Hamilton drove well, did really well to defend his position.

Just watching the highlights. I think I’ve missed something. Can somebody explain why McLaren wanted Norris to switch places with Oscar?

Usually the leading driver gets choice strategy calls, and on this circuit the undercut was really powerful so putting first was critical.

Hamilton pitted before Norris and was in danger of being undercut so it was critical they pitted him. Just before this Piastri went off and lost a lot of time so Norris was only 1.5sec behind. Norris was gonna end up undercutting him. So McLaren had the understanding from the pre race meeting that Norris would give the place back.

    Norris saw is otherwise.

Background: undercut is very powerful here - like 2s

At the pitstops, Piastri was in 1st, Norris 2nd. Piastri sh9uld have had preference for first stop.

However the team were worried (needlessly as it turned out but 20:20 hindsight and all that...) that Hamilton (3rd)  was a threat to Norris so they let him stop first to clear Hamilton a bit. As a result once Piastri stopped, he was behind Norris.

It seems like the team always meant to reverse them to undo that. But in the meantime Norris pulled a 3-4s gap and the rest you've probably seen

Can you imagine if the stewards had penalised Min and he'd ended up behind Perez...

Honestly, he's a total bell end isn't he? He's only mature when the win is easy, roll on Belgium. I'm glad to see that Lewis still keeps his wheels in where Max is concerned.

Lewis is probably still the only driver who knows how to race Max. Although I think Lando is starting to catch on. Just use Max tactics against Max and he usually makes a fool of himself. You can see him getting angrier and angrier the longer the battles go on.

Even JP had had enough of his BS today.

Loved seeing the real Max back again, it’s hysterical to watch. McLaren are my team and have managed to get a one/two and come away with a bad stench to whole thing.
