Still no polyphonic pitch or extra HX reverbs though? Weird. Not that I need either but both have been talked about for so long by L6 now I’m curious to see what they come up with!

Apparently, it means that the preset stores the same of the IR assigned rather than the slot number, so you can reorder your IRs and it won't mess up all your presets

Given how great the Helix UI is i'm surprised they haven't packaged it up into a pedal switching option like the boss ms3. That would be great. Also a comprehensive audio looper could be brilliant.

Very exciting! 3.0 will be even better, with 8 blocks (can't change DSP though, so that will still be an issue for some people)

Had a session today with the D-Moll. It was perfectly acceptable here. Still don't know why you've been having issues tbh!

Are you talking about the stomp? Where did you hear that? They only just announced 2.9.

Yes, talking about the Stomp. Apparently some 3.0 features were announced at a Line 6 NAMM event a couple of days ago, and some of the Line 6 people have confirmed it on TGP

Frank is an absolute legend though - I cannot praise him enough, he was superb when I had questions and issues with my main helix years ago. That's one of the reasons I purchased a HX Stomp as a backup to my main Kemper rig, as I know the support is fantastic.

I think it might be because im trying to preserve as much dynamic range as i can from the channel volumes.

Yup, for about 2 years now.
