Cambridge. Flatland. To be fair the roof might be more to do with my DIY than the wind, but it's definitely pretty strong here. But we have a local venturi effect with the position of all the houses and the wind's always pretty strong.

Our huge ash tree is shedding boughs as thick as my thigh and our shed roof is busy being torn off.
Same here .. ash tree down in the back garden and lots of empty plastic plant pots flying past my office window.

It all looks the OK in Margate. A few bins laying about with rubbish scattered all over the place, but that's normal anyway. I'm going round to Ramsgate later, I reckon it might be a bit different there, probably a bit more rubbish, though.

We're a bit north of Cambridge, and the wind's picking up rather here, too. Hope your shed roof holds, Viz.

Just reminded me of a joke i head in the weekend: guy goes to the doctor wearing nothing but a see-through plastic sheet. Doctor says I can clearly see your nuts.

We were ok in St Ives, mind we're pretty well sheltered from the worst.
