I'm deflated. Really gutted for Stander and I really don't think Ireland have much of a chance of getting much out of this game now. I should add I really hope Lambie is ok, he landed hard and was knocked out.

And as I write this Henshaw gets a yellow -- FML

Immense defense from 13 man Ireland to keep the score to 13 - 13 all at half time. I can't see the second half going well but fair dues that was a decent effort.

I thought that the refereeing was poor, is there a new rule where every nth knock-on is a freebie? I don't think it was a red card, I have no idea what the law says but you can't put on the skyhooks or cvhange direction if you've already jumped. (Unless you're Jason Robinson, who seemd to be able to change direction regardless of bgeing on or off the ground.

As an example, Aaron Smith goes off, Perenara comes on and ADDS to the tempo. Cane goes off and Savea Jr is suddenly the best player on the park.

I have to say I thought 'Not Toby' was every bit as good as the Kiwi forwards. Exceptional. I also thought Melon had a very good game for once.

As you would say, 'fair do's like'!

Harsh on Melon, he's been one of the best forwards the British Isles have ever produced (scrummaging aside).

Agreed, AB's will walk the Rugby Championship later in the summer as well. Probably without losing a single game
