It's great that this level of info is free for people starting out. Back when I started playing (during the war .. Jumpers for goalposts etc) there was none of that. You got what you could from Magazines and interviews. Maybe the local star musician that worked in the guitar shop would give you some pointers and info but a lot of the time there was just nothing but trial and error
For example I gigged a 70s Superlead Marshall for years with a Tandy Y cable to use both channels as I had no idea you could jump them.
I found out about stacking over drives by accident
If I had the level of info that is available today I would have devoured it all
So fair play to Rob, he does take a lot of time to try and pass on information to people. His style might not be everyone's cup of tea (to say the least) but as I always say in these threads

One of those typical andertons videos you just end up getting sucked into watching. After initially going onto youtube to watch something really cool, ironically a few mins later you find yourself watching the captain showing you the contents of his fridge.

I love the mannerisms and it's not a bland presentation either. I watched a Steve Vai one for the Jemini distortion pedal: too long and really not my thing. This guy is like the SAS. He's in and out before you know it.
